My name is Josh I am currently a Psychology major at Brandman University. I have been attending Brandman since the end of 2010 and this current term will be my last. I will be done with my B.A. at the end of October and after that I plan on attending University of Louisville to pursue a Masters in Social Work. In 2012 I enlisted in the United States Army as a 68W(medic) and currently stationed in Kentucky. I have a strong urge to help people that is why I am majoring in the social sciences as well as being a medic. I hope to complete my Graduates degree by the time my enlistment is up. I have two career path choices to go towards after I graduate which are either become a civilian social worker or go direct commission in the Army to become a social worker.

I think as for my career the certain aspects I would like to work on or find more information on are different theorists or even how to treat certain disorders with therapy such as eating disorders. I really enjoy learning about my career field and how different theorists think. I too though have a huge liking towards nutrition and fitness so I am highly interested in eating disorders as well. Within the research on these topics I plan on using a variety of sources from books and scholarly journal articles that way I know all the information I provide in my research is valid.
